Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Equipment Aggro strategy commanded by Ekthi, Contaminator Priest. Ekthi turns every Equipment into an immediate creature threat by granting it living weapon and buffing the resulting Phyrexian Germ tokens with a static +1/+1 anthem. This bypasses the traditional tempo tax of paying equip costs upfront, creating a self-assembling army as you cast artifacts. Supported by low-mana ramp and tutors like Stoneforge Mystic and Steelshaper's Gift, the deck curves into Ekthi on Turn 3 or 4 and immediately floods the board with high-stat Germs. Card draw engines such as Puresteel Paladin, Sram, Senior Edificer, Kíli the Resourceful, and Caretaker's Talent ensure constant card advantage on token entry and spell cast. The deck finishes games through wide, evasive combat damage augmented by Akroma's Will, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Genji Glove, while protecting its board with efficient defensive spells like Clever Concealment and Flawless Maneuver.
