Deck overview

Uugguu, the Omniplasm helms an explosive Sultai aristocrats and clone-replication strategy that leverages the legend rule and token multiplication. By casting low-cost shapeshifters to copy Uugguu, the legend rule immediately bins the nontoken clone, triggering the original commander to create two nonlegendary Uugguu copies. With multiple Uugguu triggers established on the battlefield, any subsequent nontoken Ooze that dies—such as Acidic Slime, Hecteyes, or Mitotic Slime—is duplicated exponentially, generating overwhelming waves of enter-the-battlefield disruption, forced discard, and massive token armies. The deck backs up this core engine with high-synergy sacrifice outlets like Phyrexian Altar, token doublers including Doubling Season and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, and asymmetric attrition from Grave Pact. While vulnerable to exile sweepers and graveyard denial, dense low-cost recursion, resilient undying effects, and redundant clone pieces enable rapid rebuilding and reliable table closure by Turn 7.
