Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Abzan stax and combo engine piloted by Tayam, Luminous Enigma. It controls the pace of high-speed multiplayer tables by establishing early asymmetric lock pieces such as Drannith Magistrate, Collector Ouphe, Archon of Emeria, and Deafening Silence. These pieces shut down opposing fast mana, storm sequences, and commander casts, while Tayam completely breaks parity by using its activated ability to cheat permanents with mana value 3 or less directly from the graveyard to the battlefield. The deck wins primarily through a compact two-card infinite combo between Basking Broodscale and Rosie Cotton of South Lane, which generates infinite 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn tokens, infinite colorless mana, and an arbitrarily large Broodscale. By filtering this infinite mana and counter economy through Tayam, the deck mills its entire library and loops Orcish Bowmasters to deal lethal damage to all opponents in a single turn.
