Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats Burn strategy commanded by Hidetsugu, Devouring Chaos. The core game plan blends traditional sacrifice engines with explosive topdeck burn. In the early turns, the deck deploys token generators like Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia and Ophiomancer, alongside ramp and aristocrat pieces such as Blood Artist and Bastion of Remembrance. Hidetsugu enters on Turn 4, enabling card selection through sacrifice scrying and repeatable impulse burn. The deck leverages topdeck manipulators like Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top to stack exorbitant mana value spells—such as Scion of Draco, Volcanic Salvo, and Emrakul, the Promised End—directly onto the library, transforming Hidetsugu's tap ability into targeted 12-to-13 damage missiles. Damage amplifiers like City on Fire accelerate the clock, while mass sacrifice effects like Grave Pact suppress opposing boards until the table is drained out.
