Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is a Grixis spellslinger/combo deck that attacks with its commander to create a one-turn storm engine. The primary plan is to swing with Azula, use Firebending red mana, and let her attack-trigger copies multiply rituals, draw spells, and a lethal X-spell. Backup paths use Vivi Ornitier as a hidden commander and mana battery, extra combat steps from Aggravated Assault and World at War to re-trigger Azula, and Chandra's Ignition plus Fiery Emancipation as a damage finisher. While the deck can operate without Azula through Vivi, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Bonus Round, her copy trigger is the fastest and most explosive route to a win.
