Riders of Rohan v2

Format: Commander

Commander: Éowyn, Shieldmaiden

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Humans go-wide combat deck helmed by Eowyn, Shieldmaiden. The plan is straightforward: flood the board with Humans, trigger Eowyn at the beginning of combat to mint hasty trampling Knight tokens, and overwhelm the table with anthems, double strike, and attack triggers. Token engines like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Hero of Bladehold, and Horn of Gondor keep the Human count climbing so Eowyn both produces bodies and draws cards once you hit six. Force-multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, Anointed Procession, and Blade Historian turn a modest board into lethal damage quickly, while Combat Celebrant adds an extra combat to finish the table. Secondary pressure comes from ETB-drain enchantments (Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call) and monarch value via Aragorn, King of Gondor. The deck wins through combat inevitability rather than infinite combos, backed by a dense suite of free interaction and board-wide protection.
