Amalia Lifegain by QuixoticWiz23

Format: Commander

Commander: Amalia Benavides Aguirre

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a BW Lifegain/Drain tribal deck piloted by Amalia Benavides Aguirre. The core strategy revolves around accumulating life through a dense suite of life-gain triggers (ETB, death, spell-color triggers) and converting that life into opponent life loss via payoffs like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Marauding Blight-Priest, and Starscape Cleric. The commander provides repeatable card selection (explore) each time you gain life and can also act as a board wipe when her power reaches exactly 20. The deck lacks tutors, fast mana, or infinite combos, instead relying on incremental advantage and mass recursion spells (Raise the Past, Rally the Ancestors) to grind out value. It plays as a midrange value engine that outlasts opponents through life total asymmetry and repeated drain triggers.
