Deck overview

This deck is a focused Dimir Zombie Aristocrats combo deck commanded by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. The strategy centers on generating recurring Zombie tokens and leveraging death triggers for massive card draw, asymmetric board attrition, and rapid combo finishes. The deck can grind out long games through high-synergy engines like Cryptbreaker, Undead Augur, and Dictate of Erebos, which repeatedly decimate opposing creature boards while refilling the pilot's hand. When ready to close the game, it pivots into deterministic infinite loops, primarily utilizing Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar and a drain payoff such as Diregraf Captain or Blood Artist. Alternatively, the deck features a compact two-card infinite win condition using Rooftop Storm and Acererak the Archlich to venture through the Lost Mine of Phandelver endlessly. While somewhat vulnerable to well-timed graveyard hate and artifact removal, the list features resilient reanimation packages to recover smoothly and execute lethal turns efficiently.
