Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Aristocrats and Voltron hybrid piloted by Kresh the Bloodbraided. Its primary game plan revolves around leveraging efficient sacrifice fodder, forced edicts, and high-power creature deaths to rapidly scale Kresh into a lethal powerhouse. The deck supplements combat damage with potent fling effects like Fling, Thud, and Ziatora, the Incinerator, allowing it to bypass pillowforts and blockers to eliminate opponents directly. A robust graveyard suite featuring cards like Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Diregraf Rebirth, and Rise of the Witch-king ensures consistent value and rapid recovery from board wipes. Meanwhile, continuous attrition engines such as Dictate of Erebos and Portal to Phyrexia keep opposing creature boards thoroughly suppressed. Although the deck possesses exceptional card draw and resilient recovery, its reliance on combat and targeted sacrifice spells leaves it susceptible to well-timed spot removal and countermagic.
