Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius control and pillowfort strategy built around Absolute Virtue, an uncounterable 8/8 flyer that grants you protection from each opponent. The deck's primary game plan is to stall opposing aggression early using attack taxes like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Magus of the Moat, alongside taxing creatures such as Grand Arbiter Augustin IV and Linvala, Keeper of Silence. It uses efficient 2-mana mana rocks and cost reducers to scale its mana base into the mid-to-late game. Once established, it resolves Absolute Virtue or other towering flyers like Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Sephara, Sky's Blade to turn the defensive fortress into an evasive combat win condition. While the deck contains the infinite combo of Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista, it includes zero tutors, treating the combo as an incidental win rather than a primary line.
