Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon Tribal strategy helmed by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's eminence ability to discount expensive Dragon spells from the start of the game. The deck accelerates through early ramp spells like Farseek, Nature's Lore, and signets to deploy engine multipliers like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Dragon Tempest by Turn 4. On Turn 5, it transitions into critical onset by resolving massive flying threats that duplicate power and clear blockers with enter-the-battlefield burn. It closes games across Turns 6 and 7 via overwhelming aerial combat and card-draw triggers, while maintaining an alternate two-card combo in Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. Its interaction package features flexible spot removal, counterspells, and asymmetric board wipes such as Crux of Fate and Cyclonic Rift, while targeted protection spells shield key creatures from removal.
