Deck overview

This deck is a high-impact Boros Angel tribal and damage-doubling list built to dominate the combat step. Commanded by Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, the strategy revolves around utilizing early mana rocks and tribal cost reducers such as Giada, Font of Hope, Starnheim Aspirant, and Urza's Incubator to deploy large, evasive Angels ahead of curve. Once a formidable aerial presence is established, casting Gisela or damage triplers like Fiery Emancipation immediately doubles combat potency, closing life totals within two combat rotations. In addition to beatdown lines, the list incorporates explosive combo finishes such as Godo, Bandit Warlord fetching Helm of the Host and Combat Celebrant copying loops with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. The deck's primary vulnerabilities stem from a high average mana curve and a light reactive interaction suite, requiring careful protection management with Teferi's Protection and Akroma's Will against opposing board wipes.
