Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a hybrid of spellslinger payoff and group-slug attrition. Led by Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge, the deck aims to cast massive, game-altering instants and sorceries such as Breach the Multiverse, Cruel Ultimatum, and Army of the Damned without paying their mana costs. Concurrently, it packs an extensive 'forced-draw burn' subtheme featuring Nekusar, the Mindrazer, Spiteful Visions, Underworld Dreams, and Psychosis Crawler paired with symmetrical draw engines like Prosperity, Skyscribing, and Jace's Archivist. While the deck possesses explosive mid-to-late-game turns that can simultaneously burn out all opponents, its lack of fast tutors and reliance on multi-permanent board states over several turn cycles leave it susceptible to well-timed interaction and sweepers. Defensive cards like Propaganda and spot removal ensure survival while building toward decisive Turn 6-8 closing sequences.
