Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari graveyard-focused aristocrats build centered on Aatchik, Emerald Radian. The early game focuses on filling the graveyard with creature and artifact cards through self-mill spells like Mulch, Glowspore Shaman, and Funeral Rites. Once the graveyard is sufficiently stocked, casting Aatchik generates a wide board of 1/1 Insect creature tokens. These tokens fuel sacrifice outlets such as Devouring Swarm and Plumb the Forbidden, triggering Aatchik to drain each opponent for 1 life per Insect death while placing +1/+1 counters on Aatchik. Secondary win conditions include massive graveyard-scaling beaters like Revenant and Moldgraf Millipede, supported by reanimation effects. The deck operates on a mid-power casual curve, using 1-mana protection spells to shield the commander while grinding out table-wide life loss.
