thorin the dwarven king by mrsebi12

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that converts a swarm of Dwarves into an overwhelming number of Treasures and Equipment. The primary plan is to land Thorin early, then chain Dwarf enters triggers into Treasures, pump the board with artifact tokens, and finish with a massive haste/trample/double strike swing (Dain of the Ancient Halls, Akroma's Will, or Thorin, Company's Leader). Secondary paths are the Equipment-voltron subtheme (Reaver Cleaver, Orcrist, Bruenor Battlehammer) and a small Dragon package (Smaug the Magnificent via Last Light of Durin's Day or Magda). There is no double-faced commander and no hidden commander; this is a straightforward 'smash with a treasure-powered Dwarf mob' deck.
