Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER by user2198340

Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black attrition deck built around the front side of Sephiroth. Jadar, Bitterbloom Bearer, Ophiomancer, and Tevesh Szat provide sacrifice fodder, while Sephiroth turns that fodder into cards and life loss on his enters and attack triggers. The deck is built to use the front face until the fourth death trigger in a turn flips him; the back face then supplies the emblem and a burst-draw attack instead of serving as a pure beatdown commander. Wins are not one-card combos: repeated drain triggers, Rottenmouth Viper's blight swings, Blood Artist/Zulaport Cutthroat with sacrifice waves, and large flying demons close the game.
