Deck overview

This deck is a battlecruiser Temur Dragon tribal strategy centered on Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. The game plan revolves around utilizing early ramp spells and tribal cost reducers like Cultivate, Dragonlord's Servant, and Dragon's Hoard to accelerate into a Turn 5 Miirym. Once the commander is established, casting heavyweight Dragons on subsequent turns produces immediate nonlegendary token copies, rapidly multiplying power on board. Threats such as Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Scourge of Valkas turn this copy mechanic into overwhelming combat damage and direct burn. Card advantage engines like Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising replenish the hand as large creatures enter, sustaining momentum. While the deck possesses explosive mid-to-late game board states and inherent protection via ward and Asceticism, it remains vulnerable to early fast combos and mass exile board wipes due to a lack of cheap countermagic and heavy reliance on sorcery-speed creature deployment.
