Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos midrange combat strategy commanded by Deadpool, Trading Card. The game plan revolves around deploying efficient mana rocks in the opening turns, casting disruptive mid-game threats, and leveraging Deadpool, Trading Card to steal powerful opposing creature text boxes. As the game transitions into the mid-to-late turns, the deck shifts toward overwhelming board states using haymakers like Etali, Primal Storm, Rionya, Fire Dancer, and Godo, Bandit Warlord. It supplements combat damage with aristocrat-style drain effects from Blood Artist and Vraan, Executioner Thane, while using Kardur, Doomscourge to force opponents into mutual attrition. The deck also harbors a compact infinite creature and death trigger combo in Dualcaster Mage and Saw in Half. Interaction is robust against creatures and artifacts, though the deck relies mainly on natural card draws to assemble its win conditions over multiple combat cycles.
