Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The game plan revolves around deploying Vivi early, then leveraging damage-triggered draw effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, a single attached draw aura turns every cheap cantrip into a net gain of 3 cards. As Vivi accumulates +1/+1 counters, its {0} mana activation generates large bursts of colored mana, fueling continuous chains of rituals and burn spells. The deck wins in a single explosive turn by burning down all opponents with repeated ping triggers, amplified by creatures like Guttersnipe and Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, or through large finishers like Grapeshot and Crackle with Power. A backup infinite combo between Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity provides additional resilience against commander removal.
