New Untitled Deck by user1372972

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black midrange deck that uses K'rrik's life-for-mana ability to accelerate into large black spells and value creatures. The primary plan is to convert life into mana, drop threats such as Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Pontiff of Blight, and finish with a mass life-drain spell like Exsanguinate or Peer into the Abyss. The commander is cast as early as turn 3-4, but the deck does not require K'rrik to function because it has enough normal ramp and black good-stuff cards. The hidden commander concept is minimal; the deck is built to use K'rrik's face side as a cost reducer and engine, not the back side, since the card only has one face.
