Just Hoppin Around by Esperboi

Format: Commander

Commander: Kwain, Itinerant Meddler

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kwain leads a group-hug control deck that forces everyone to draw and then punishes or wins off that draw. The primary plan uses symmetrical draw engines (Kwain, Temple Bell, Folio of Fancies, Howling Mine, Kami of the Crescent Moon) to fuel Smothering Tithe treasures, Rhystic Study and Mystic Remora cards, and drain with Psychosis Crawler, Scrawling Crawler and Iron Maiden or deck itself with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries and Laboratory Maniac. Secondary paths are Approach of the Second Sun tutored with Mystical Tutor, Scroll Rack and Windfall and infinite mana from Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal into Folio. Kwain is a cheap repeatable draw engine and life buffer, not a combo piece; the hidden commanders are Psychosis Crawler and Jace/Lab Maniac as the actual finishers.
