Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son to turn combat-driven experience counters into card advantage, massive creature buffs, and direct burn. Because both commanders are Gods, early attacks immediately generate experience counters that remain on the player permanently. Atreus converts these counters into extra cards and burn, while Kratos distributes +1/+1 counters to grow threats into lethal attackers. The supporting 99 leans heavily into indestructible Theros Gods, proliferate mechanics, and counter multipliers like Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion. Damage amplifiers like All Will Be One and Ojer Axonil translate counter placement and Atreus activations into lethal damage. While the deck lacks instant two-card infinite combos and fast mana, its resilient threat base, player-bound counters, and asymmetric sweepers allow it to outvalue opposing tables and close games through overwhelming combat and noncombat damage.
