Deck overview

Thranduil the Strategist is a single-faced Simic commander; the deck is built to cast him early and let landfall create a swarm while every other Elf becomes a mana dork. The primary plan is to ramp with one-cost Elves and fetchlands, then assemble an infinite-mana loop: Ashaya + Quirion Ranger + a 2+ mana Elf producer, Nissa/Springheart/Tireless Provisioner, or Marwyn/Priest/Staff, and draw into Finale of Devastation/Craterhoof Behemoth for lethal. Thrasios in the 99 is the preferred mana sink; the second Thranduil legend is a value piece, not a hidden commander. A strong stack-protection suite keeps the combo intact.
