Deck overview

This Jeskai Spellslinger deck is commanded by Shiko and Narset, Unified, focusing on chaining low-cost noncreature spells to trigger the Flurry mechanic alongside wide prowess payoffs. The game plan centers on deploying early token generators and pump engines like Monastery Mentor, Balmor, Battlemage Captain, and Leonin Lightscribe, followed by casting the commander on Turn 4. On Turn 5, sequencing cantrips into targeted buff spells such as Bulk Up or Distortion Strike activates Flurry to duplicate effects and deal massive combat damage. Card velocity from Archmage Emeritus, Whirlwind of Thought, and Jeskai Ascendancy keeps the hand refueled with interaction. The deck also carries an alternate infinite damage combo in Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. While vulnerable to mass sweepers across its 2-cycle combat finish, the dense redundancy of prowess threats and low-cost removal makes the strategy resilient and explosive.
