Deck overview

This Golgari deck utilizes Chatterfang, Squirrel General to turn any token generation into an army of 1/1 green Squirrels. The strategy blends aggressive go-wide combat with an aristocrat sacrifice engine. By creating Treasure, Food, and creature tokens, the deck constantly doubles its board presence, converting disposable Squirrels into targeted creature removal or fuel for card-draw engines like Skullclamp and Plumb the Forbidden. The primary win condition revolves around assembling Warren Soultrader with Chatterfang and a drain payoff such as Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat for a same-turn combo kill. Alternatively, the deck can overrun opponents using Beastmaster Ascension or Finale of Devastation. Strong ramp pieces ensure early deployment, while flexible protection spells help preserve critical permanents during win attempts.
