Some of You May Die

Format: Commander

Commander: Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Orzhov aristocrats deck grinds value through sacrifice and life gain and wins with incremental drain and recursion. Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher is the central engine: each sacrifice puts a +1/+1 counter on her and gains life, and each attack returns a permanent with mana value <= her power from the graveyard. Secondary paths use Blood Artist and Marauding Blight-Priest to turn deaths and life gain into direct life loss, supported by Ajani's Welcome, Dawn of Hope and Dazzling Angel. Ardyn, the Usurper acts as a hidden commander, reanimating any graveyard creature as a 5/5 Demon. With no infinite combo, the deck wins over several Carmen attacks and Midnight Snack activations.
