Commander: Thanos, the Mad Titan

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thanos is a five-color control/value deck whose primary kill is the Maze's End alternate condition. Land-tutor spells-Circuitous Route, Explore the Underdark, and Reshape the Earth-stock the battlefield with differently named Gates; Amulet of Vigor and Tiller Engine fix the drawback of entering tapped so Maze's End can be activated the same turn. Thanos himself is a defensive piece: his lifelink/deathtouch body is a strong blocker, and his one-shot power-up can destroy all odd- or even-mana-value creatures. If the Gate line is disrupted, the deck pivots to large threats-Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, Avacyn, Ulamog-plus Bello turning big artifacts/enchantments into hasty 4/4 card draw. There is no hidden commander.
