Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact storm and synergy build commanded by Meria, Scholar of Antiquity. The strategy focuses on deploying a high density of zero- and low-cost nontoken artifacts, which Meria turns into green mana sources and impulse-draw engines. By chaining cheap artifacts with cost reducers like Foundry Inspector and top-deck access from Mystic Forge, the deck converts rapid spell casts into table-wide damage using pingers such as Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, and Glaring Fleshraker. Large finishers like Crackle with Power and Craterclaw Colossus provide massive burst damage to close out games, while an incidental infinite combo in Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts offers an alternate win condition. The deck generates substantial mana and card flow but remains vulnerable to targeted removal on its commander and sweeping artifact wipe effects due to low defensive interaction.
