This deck is a high-powered Gruul aggressive combat deck built around Anzrag, the Quake-Mole. The primary strategy accelerates mana on the opening turns using 1-drop mana dorks and 2-drop ramp spells to cast Anzrag by Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, the deck leverages Anzrag's massive 8/4 stat line to pressure life totals. When opponents block, Anzrag untaps the team and grants additional combat phases.
