Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrat strategy piloted by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Zombie creatures, accelerating into Gisa on Turn 4, and utilizing her tap ability on Turn 5 to sacrifice high-power creatures into exponential waves of 2/2 Zombie tokens. The deck amplifies this swarm using powerful tribal lords like Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Cemetery Reaper, while turning creature deaths and entries into life drains via Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Graveyard recursion engines like Lord of the Undead and Zul Ashur, Lich Lord provide steady mid-game stamina. The deck generates strong on-board presence and one-sided creature attrition with Noxious Ghoul, but remains vulnerable to board sweepers and lacks instant-speed stack protection or artifact removal.
