Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Golgari Pest and Insect deck builds a wide board of 1/1 Pests that gain life when they die and uses that life gain to grow the team. Blech, Loafing Pest puts a +1/+1 counter on each Pest, Bat, Insect, Snake and Spider you control whenever you gain life, and Hardened Scales, Winding Constrictor and Doubling Season double those counters. You win by combat with a pumped board or by draining without combat through Mirkwood Bats, The Meathook Massacre and Cauldron of Essence. Exquisite Blood plus Enduring Tenacity, Starscape Cleric or South Wind Avatar creates a true infinite life-drain loop. Bolas's Citadel and The Great Henge act as hidden engines that keep cards and mana flowing when Blech is not on the board.
