Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a ramp-heavy mono-green token-and-mana engine deck helmed by The Notary Hobbits. The commander's ETB creates two non-legendary Halfling copies, and every Halfling on the battlefield taps for colorless mana - turning the board itself into a mana battery. The plan is to ramp aggressively, multiply tokens with Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, and Primal Vigor, then close through one of several overlapping channels: infinite mana via Staff of Domination plus a big-tapping dork into Walking Ballista, a massive token overrun with Craterhoof Behemoth or Biorhythm, or raw Eldrazi beats from Ulamog, the Defiler, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and It That Betrays. Ugin, Eye of the Storms supplies removal and a free-cast ultimate. The deck is fundamentally a goodstuff value pile that functions largely independent of its commander.
