Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dimir control and reanimator strategy helmed by Mirko, Obsessive Theorist. The primary plan leverages Mirko's surveil synergy to aggressively filter the library, fuel the graveyard, and deploy a compact same-turn victory with Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation. In parallel, the deck operates a robust reanimation engine that cheats game-warping threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, and Massacre Wurm onto the battlefield, creating overwhelming card advantage and board suppression. The list features an elite interaction suite packed with free countermagic like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship alongside flexible removal such as Deadly Rollick and Toxic Deluge. Clone effects like Auton Soldier and Sakashima's Student duplicate high-impact creatures to compound attrition, while utility pieces like Power Conduit and Nesting Grounds can remove finality counters from Mirko's reanimated creatures to keep them permanently resilient.
