Dane

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ever-Changing 'Dane

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Esper control-value deck built around The Ever-Changing 'Dane's conditional copy/sacrifice engine rather than a single hidden commander. It wins by converting one of many death triggers into a decisive effect: Aura Thief plus Enchanted Evening steals every permanent, while Kokusho drain loops and Ratadrabik token generation provide backup. The commander is a flexible activated copy, but the deck also pays off with clone creatures, Mirror Box, and sacrifice outlets. Secondary paths use Kambal and Blood Artist to turn token/death loops into life loss, and Boromir plus Unsettled Mariner to protect the turn.
