Deck overview

Yarus, Roar of the Old Gods turns every face-down creature into a hasty, recursive draw engine. The deck floods the board with morph, manifest, and cloak creatures, then flips them for value while Yarus draws cards and returns dead face-down permanents. Trail of Mystery fixes mana, Den Protector and Deathmist Raptor generate recursion, and Avenger of Zendikar or a pile of manifest creatures sets up a Craterhoof Behemoth overrun. A compact Ashcloud Phoenix + Goblin Bombardment loop offers an alternate infinite-damage kill. There is no hidden commander; the list is built entirely around Yarus's face-down synergies, with Xenagos and Terror of the Peaks as supporting beatdown amplifiers.
