Octopus Engineering [B4] by Papa-Triste

Format: Commander

Commander: Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor leads a mono-blue artifact-combo deck that turns card draw into free artifact casts. The primary plan is to ramp with fast mana, tutor for an infinite-mana/draw engine such as Chromatic Orrery + Filigree Sages or Basalt Monolith + Forensic Gadgeteer, and win with Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac. Urza, Lord High Artificer is the hidden commander, converting artifacts into blue mana and enabling the fastest lines. Secondary paths use Glaring Fleshraker to burn with colorless spell triggers, Tezzeret ultimates for artifact combat, and Lady Octopus to deploy expensive artifacts ahead of curve. A dense package of free counterspells and instant-speed bounce protects the combo.
