Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck is built around The Notary Hobbits, utilizing Halflings and Changelings to generate massive mana bursts. On Turn 4, the commander enters the battlefield and creates two non-legendary token copies, instantly establishing three Halflings that each tap for colorless mana equal to the total Halfling count. Supported by low-cost changelings such as Metallic Mimic and Bloodline Pretender, the Hobbits routinely generate 9 to 15+ colorless mana on Turn 5. The deck channels this enormous mana acceleration into catastrophic high-CMC payoffs, including Genesis Wave, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Earthshaker Giant, and Triumph of the Hordes. While the deck features explosive goldfish speed and high redundancy among stompy finishers, its reliance on fragile 1/1 creature bodies creates a distinct window of vulnerability to early sweepers. With sparse stack interaction, the strategy focuses on overwhelming the table through rapid mana deployment and decisive trampling combat damage by Turn 6.
