Rat King(copy) by user2058703

Format: Commander

Commander: Rat King, Verminister

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black swarm deck uses Rat King, Verminister to maintain continuous board presence and fuel mass recursion. The primary game plan revolves around casting numerous copies of Rat Colony to overwhelm the table with escalating power, supercharged by Thrumming Stone to ripple out the entire swarm at once. Commander Rat King passively generates tokens and provides massive swing turns by sacrificing three Rats to resurrect all fallen Rat Colony copies simultaneously. Secondary win conditions include overwhelming evasion via Marrow-Gnawer or Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm, aristocrats drain engines such as Ayara and Blood Artist, and an infinite Rat token combo using Marrow-Gnawer equipped with Thornbite Staff.
