Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Shadowborn Apostle combo-midrange deck hiding behind Karador. The real engine is 27 copies of Shadowborn Apostle: Edgewalker makes them free, Secret Salvage, Thrumming Stone and Bloodbond March flood the board with copies, and Ayara/Funeral Room turn each cast and sacrifice into life drain. Sacrificing six Apostles tutors a Demon; Rune-Scarred Demon finds the next engine piece, while Mirror Box turns a board of Apostles into huge attackers. Karador is the recursion safety net, allowing one creature per turn from the graveyard and making the deck resilient after wipes. The deck wins through repeated drain, mass combat, or Valgavoth/Sower/Pestilence Demon finish.
