Commander: Tataru Taru

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-white value/midrange deck helmed by Tataru Taru, a cheap two-mana draw engine whose ETB cantrips and whose "Scions' Secretary" ability converts opponents' off-turn draws into tapped Treasures. The deck is a hybrid artifacts-matter / lifegain / +1/+1 counters pile: it deploys evasive creatures, suits them up with Equipment like Captain America's Shield and Paladin's Arms, pumps them with anthem effects like Bastion Protector and Summon: Choco/Mog, and grinds out incremental combat damage. There are no infinite combos - the plan is pure incremental value, recurring key pieces with Sun Titan and Abiding Grace while answering threats with a flexible suite of white removal and wipes. The commander is a nice-to-have draw/ramp engine rather than the deck's backbone; the 99 carries the strategy.
