Deck overview

This Golgari midrange deck helmed by Tom, Bert, and William marries high-power creatures with sacrifice-for-value engines and a reanimation backbone. The commander is a 5-mana sac outlet that turns any large body into a burst of cards (then a discard), and when it dies it returns as an artifact-giving the deck a sticky, recastable engine in the command zone. The plan is to ramp into oversized threats (Yargle and Multani, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Lord of Extinction, Daemogoth Titan), convert them into cards via the commander or Greater Good, and close through combat, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord drains, or discard payoffs like Monument to Endurance and Psychosis Crawler. Protean Hulk and a modest reanimation suite (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Living Death, Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist) supply a secondary assembly line. The deck wins by grinding out overwhelming board presence and life-total pressure rather than a lightning-fast combo kill.
