Doran by myrrhp

Format: Commander

Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Doran, Besieged by Time leads a toughness-matters beatdown deck. The primary plan is to land an early mana dork, deploy a toughness-as-damage effect (Assault Formation, Felothar, or Bedrock Tortoise), cast Doran to reduce big-butted creatures' costs and pump them during combat, then turn large toughness into commander and normal damage. Secondary lines use Baldin for a hand-size finisher, Betor and Trostani for life/draw/card advantage, and Nethroi/Colfenor to rebuild after wipes. There is no compact infinite combo. Felothar is the hidden commander because it replicates Doran's damage ability, lets defenders attack, and converts one sacrifice into cards.
