Deck overview

This deck executes a high-tempo aggro-control strategy centered around Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It deploys 1-mana unblockable creatures on the first turn to cheat Yuriko into play on Turn 2 via commander ninjutsu. By bypassing commander tax and normal spell countermagic, Yuriko creates immediate card advantage and deals life loss to all opponents equal to the mana value of revealed cards. The deck leverages topdeck manipulation like Scroll Rack, Brainstorm, and cheap tutors to stack high-cost spells such as Temporal Trespass, Expropriate, and Commandeer. These high-value hits drain the entire table simultaneously while filling the pilot's hand with free interaction like Fierce Guardianship, Force of Negation, and Deadly Rollick. Chaining extra-turn spells and multiplying combat triggers with clones like Sakashima of a Thousand Faces quickly closes the game by Turn 5.
