Deck overview

This Abzan deck centers on the partner pairing of Reyhan, Last of the Abzan and Keleth, Sunmane Familiar to execute an aggressive +1/+1 counter game plan. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with low-cost ramp and establishing Keleth to generate recurring counters on attack. Reyhan ensures that accumulated counters are never wasted, shifting power across the battlefield whenever modified creatures die. Supporting enchantments like Hardened Scales and Innkeeper's Talent multiply counter output, while proliferate engines such as Evolution Sage rapidly inflate the entire team. To close games, the deck translates raw power into lethal damage using evasion from Abzan Falconer and overrun effects from Tyvar, the Pummeler and Ouroboroid. With resilient counter storage in The Ozolith and robust creature recursion, the deck maintains steady pressure across multiple combat steps.
