Deck overview

This is a Sultai tokens-and-counters engine helmed by Xavier Sal, Infested Captain. The deck wants to create creature tokens, pile +1/+1 counters on them, and then use Xavier's populate and proliferate abilities to compound a board state until it can either swing with an overwhelming army or convert its pieces into a deterministic infinite loop. The primary kill is the Intruder Alarm + Propagator Drone + Path of Annihilation engine, which generates infinite Eldrazi Spawn and infinite mana, cashed in through drain payoffs like Marionette Apprentice, Nadier's Nightblade, or Cauldron of Essence. Backup plans include copying and reanimating haymakers such as Agent Frank Horrigan, Agent of Treachery, and Ulamog, the Defiler, while Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters multiply every token and counter along the way.
