Elf Thranduil by user4810232

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking turns the graveyard into a toolbox and the board into a snowball. Every Elf in the bin lends him its activated abilities, so a stocked graveyard gives the commander Devoted Druid's mana/untap loop, Marwyn, the Nurturer's and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds's burst mana, Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar's draw, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader's overrun. The deck floods the board with Elf tokens via Thranduil the Strategist, Elvish Promenade, Galadhrim Ambush, and Tyvar Kell, then wins through tribal anthems like Coat of Arms and Chronicle of Victory or a one-shot Overwhelming Stampede/Allosaurus Shepherd swing. Its fastest paths are two infinite-mana lines in the 99 - Dionus, Elvish Archdruid plus Devoted Druid, or Freed from the Real on a big dork - both funneling into Exsanguinate. Leyline of Singularity is the hidden engine: every token becomes legendary, so each one draws two cards off Thranduil.
