Deck overview

Hamza is a +1/+1 token-and-counter combo deck. It uses mana dorks, counter amplifiers like Hardened Scales and Conclave Mentor, and creature-based draw engines to build a wide counter board, then assembles a two-card loop: Cathars' Crusade with Scurry Oak or Herd Baloth, or Archangel of Thune plus a Soul Warden life-gain enabler. Hamza's role is supportive: he makes creature spells cheaper once the table is loaded with counters, but the win lines do not depend on him. The secondary path is a trampling beatdown through Garruk's Uprising and Parallel Lives. There is no hidden commander; the deck is not built around Lae'zel or Kutzil as the face. Usual payoff is enormous token swings, not single combat damage.
