Deck overview

This Sultai deck is helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale, combining classic Zombie tribal synergies with self-mill, land recursion, and aristocrats drain engines. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Teval early to mill cards, ramp lands directly from the graveyard, and generate a steady army of 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The deck leverages high-impact tribal lords like Death Baron, Undead Warchief, and Lord of the Accursed alongside sacrifice outlets such as Ashnod's Altar and Carrion Feeder. Life drain is accelerated through Diregraf Captain, Bastion of Remembrance, Plague Belcher, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. As a compact backup win condition, the deck features the two-card infinite damage combo of Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion. It delivers steady mid-game value, resilient token generation, and versatile interaction across Sultai colors.
