Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Ninja tribal aggro-tempo deck helmed by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It focuses on deploying early evasive and two-mana creatures to activate Commander ninjutsu on Turn 3. Once on the battlefield, Yuriko and a suite of supporting Ninjas—such as Ingenious Infiltrator, Mist-Syndicate Naga, and Satoru, the Infiltrator—generate recurring card draw and group life loss whenever they connect with opponents. The deck integrates an equipment package including Blackblade Reforged, Fireshrieker, and Cliffhaven Kitesail to grant evasion and combat buffs to bypass blockers. Without high-CMC burn spells or top-deck tutors, the deck wins through steady, compounding combat pressure and incremental Yuriko triggers, grinding down life totals across multiple turns while relying on Commander ninjutsu to bypass the commander tax.
