Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul combo and artifact-synergy build helmed by Aerid Konstrari. The core strategy revolves around reducing Aerid's {6} activated ability down to a single generic mana using Agatha of the Vile Cauldron boosted to 5 power. Because each activation produces an untapped Heartwood token capable of tapping for mana, the deck loops infinite activations to create infinite mana, infinite artifact triggers, and an infinitely large commander. Redundant pingers like Reckless Fireweaver and HYDRA Assault Robot turn this loop into an instant win on Turn 5. The list supports this plan with an extensive suite of eight creature tutors, deep rummaging velocity, and eight 1-mana protection spells that double as combo pump effects. If the primary combo is disrupted, the deck pivots naturally into a formidable combat threat using Craterclaw Colossus and Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink.
